Functionality updates

Connect app activity check

The Agent Sales app will now regularly check if the Sales Connect app is running in the background, and display a screen prompting the user to open the Connect app if it's not running.

The Connect app is responsible for ensure proper call logging, among other features, and is therefore required to always run in the background.

Battery Optimisation prompt

If Battery Optimization is not disabled for the Agent Sales and Sales Connect apps, they may be put to sleep by the mobile device when not actively in use. This may result in data sync issues or misses in incoming leads.

With the present update, the user will be prompted to disable battery optimisation for these apps if it's not already done, each time the user opens the Agent Sales app.

Tapping on the Disable Battery Optimisation button will take the user to the phone's settings page where this action can be performed.

For most mobile devices however, battery optimisation can be managed from Settings -> Apps -> Special Access, or Settings -> Apps -> Battery Optimisation.

Feature Enhancements

Lead's repeat site visit visibility

The number of repeat site visits by a lead is now visible in the lead's history page - indicated by a number next to the event.

Reimbursement cap of 10,000 removed

It's now possible to submit monthly reimbursements that exceed 10,000 INR.

The approval chain remains unchanged, and the approving lead/manager and Finance team will be able to make changes to the submitted amount [if required] before approving.

Reduced notifications saved in the Notifications section of the app

Notifications regarding Ignored leads, Update pending for scheduled events, and available Fresh leads will not be saved/visible in the list of notifications in the Notifications section (navigated from the Bell icon at the bottom) of the app. These notifications will however continue to appear on the phone (Android Notifications) whenever they arrive, after which they can be swiped by the user.
