Though the agents have the option to create an agent from the CP Sourcing App, Team Leads can also create new CPs by uploading the CPs in CSV format from the Channel Partner dashboard.
1.1. Data Preparation
I. Log in to the dashboard & navigate to the Channel Partner Portal.
II. Click on the “Upload” option & then select the “Download Sample Format”.
III. A CSV will be downloaded. Open the CSV file & replace the sample data with the CP data you want to upload.
Mandatory Headers: Channel Partner Name, Country Code, Phone Number, and Firm Name
Non-Mandatory Headers: Email, Firm Address, RERA ID, GSTIN
IV. After adding all the details as per the headers in the CSV format, save the file & close it.
1.2. Uploading CSV File
I. Log in to the Channel Partner portal after saving your data in the CSV file.
II. Click on the “Upload” option & then select the “Upload CP CSV” option.
III. Click on the button “Upload File” & then select the CSV file you saved after adding the data.
IV. After uploading the CSV file, add the CP & Firm Locality. Choose the assignment & the agents from the dropdown.
CP & Firm Locality- Place where CPs are working
Assignment & Projects- CPs can only be distributed to the agents associated with the selected assignment & projects.
Agents- Select all the agents among which you want to distribute the CPs.
V. Once all the fields are selected, click on continue to upload the data.
1.3. Errors
1.3.1. How to avoid the error?
I. Please ensure to add the data on the right header as given in the downloaded “CSV Sample” file.
II. A single phone number is to be added to each row. Multiple phone numbers are not supported.
III. The entries in the Address column have to be enclosed in double quotes ("").
IV. Make sure the CSV you upload is in exactly the same format as the downloaded sample. Do not change the header of any column.
1.3.2. Fixing the error
I. When the upload is not successful, you will see the below message. Click on the Download Error option to download the error details in the message.
Note: Alternatively, you can also click on the “View Errors” option to check all the errors. |
II. Open the downloaded file, & check the column labeled with the error to see the issues.
III. Update the data to fix the errors & try re-uploading the entire file.
