Configuring Email Sender ID For Transactional Emails

1. Prerequisites For Sender ID


I. Amazon SES/Sendgrid setup from the client’s end.


II. API key (provided by the client).


III. Access key sid & Ses region (provided by the client) (only applicable for Amazon service).




2. Steps To Add Sender ID


I. Log in to the Email Sender ID portal.


II. Click on the ‘Add New Sender’.



III. Fill in all the fields and then click on the ‘Create Sender’ button.


- From email: Add the email id from which the email will go to the leads.

- From name: Add the name that will appear on the email going to the leads.

- Reply to email: Add the email id that will receive the mail reverted by the leads (this can or cannot be the same as ‘From email’).

- Reply to name: Add the name that will appear on the email reverted by the leads (this can or cannot be the same as ‘From name’).

- Service: Choose from Amazon SES or Sendgrid accordingly.

- Status: Active or inactive

- API Key: Add the API key from Amazon SES or Sendgrid shared by the client.

- Access key sid: Add the Access key sid shared by the client (only applicable for Amazon service).

- Ses region: Add the Ses region shared by the client (only applicable for Amazon service).


Refer to the below screenshot for ‘From Name’ & ‘From Email’ 





3. Checking/Editing Previously Added Sender ID

Once the Email Sender ID is added, it will appear as a list on the homepage of the Email Sender ID portal.



3.1. Checking the sender ID

I. Log in to the Email Sender ID portal.


II. Navigate to the Sender ID that you want to check.


III. Click on the ‘Show’ option.



IV. You can check all the details associated with the respective sender ID.


V. You can click on the ‘Back’ button to go back to the homepage or the ‘Edit’ button to edit the sender ID details.



3.2. Editing the sender ID


I. Log in to the Email Sender ID portal.


II. Navigate to the Sender ID that needs to be edited.


III. Click on the ‘Edit’ option.



IV. Now, you can update any of the fields and then click on the ‘Update Sender’ button.
